Re: Zero(Ri: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, also known as Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World) is a Japanese-made anime. The drawings, the subject and the category are the main factors that attract the audience. Just as we don’t comment or review any production we haven’t watched, I have watched this anime for you. So how did our Re: Zero review article take shape? First, let’s explain the subject in a spoiler-free way.
What is the plot of Re:Zero?
Our high school student Natsuki Subaru, who continues his life in a normal way, one day, while returning from market to the home, is summoned to the other world. Don’t think of it like a Hereafter, think of it as a different universe. This world is home to elves, creatures and most living things, including humans. Before the first day of this strange world is fully completed, he is attacked by vagrants. Just as they were about to clobber him, a silver-haired half-elf girl and her little magic cat chased the vagrants. At that point, our silver-haired girl indicates that she has lost an important item and must look for it. In return for this favour, Subaru-Kun wants to help the fairy elf girl, and they cooperate. When they conclude by following the clues, Subaru and the girl are attacked and killed. After that, Subaru wakes up with the “Return from the Dead” ability and becomes a helpless person who can rewind time when he dies. Then, bleakly, he tries to save the girl from the fate of death but, of course, things won’t just stop there…
Re:Zero Review and Commentary
…Well, now we came to the most garish part. Every article written here may contain spoilers. Therefore, we do not recommend those who have not watched the first two seasons of the anime to read here. (The second season of the anime is currently ongoing. No final announcement has been made yet.)
If we call it “Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu “, believe me, you will alienate from it, so we call it re:zero instead. The audience knows what Subaru went through and what state he was in. By the way, the number of people who wish they were in his place is also high, but seeing Roswaal’s face after every death makes it a shame.
I have watched some scenes 3-4 times since they are in a psychological category. In many places, such as the sudden appearance of the witches, the black book chapters of Beatrice, the mystery of Frederica and her brother Garfiel, I ensure you’ll get confused. I’m pretty sure that some anime lovers watch it just for this confusing. Let’s go back to Subaru. Sometimes his being angry make people annoyed. They created a very weepy character. Of course, I don’t know what we would do if we were in his place, but, from time to time, this feature of the character annoys people.
Let’s talk about the beloved of millions, Mrs Rem. We missed her so bad in the 2nd season because she has never left her bed. I’m still sure Subaru will get her out of that bed. We can say that he is a character who achieves the goal he has set, no matter how weepy he is. The only thing we can say about Rem is that she is a popular character. If we could see a little more in season 2, this paragraph would be chockfull.
Before I forget, I would like to mention Echidna, the Witch of Greed. In the first episode, she is a witch that we think is Satella and in Windows XP. By the way, the number of people who want to drink the tea she made herself is so high. Echidna is a different character. A person who has almost all the information in the world, so greedy. At the same time, we can say that she is in the middle of puzzling mysteries. That’s why Re:Zero has put its name on the list of the most important characters for us.
My RE:Zero Rating
The anime series, which received 8.1 points out of 10 on IMDb, deserves 8.5 points from our point of view, both in terms of its drawings, and its characters. The places where we take points off are not many. We can list them as Rem’s not appearing much in the 2nd season and Subaru’s excessive lameness.
